Your safety governs every line of code we write. Here is exactly how we protect your identity and your data.

How is my data protected?
All sensitive data, including your Private Vault entries and Direct Messages, are encrypted using AES-256-GCM before they ever reach our database. This is a military-grade encryption standard. It means that even if our servers were seized or breached, your entries would look like meaningless, random characters.
What data is NOT stored?
  • We do not ask for or store your real name.
  • We do not ask for or store your email address.
  • We do not track your IP address in our long-term databases.
  • We do not use third-party tracking cookies, analytics, or ads.
How does Camouflage Mode work?
If someone walks into the room, you can activate Camouflage Mode instantly. This uses a local JavaScript override to instantly replace the entire layout of SilentShield with what appears to be a generic spreadsheet or blog. It does not require a network request, meaning the switch is instantaneous (zero latency).

Our Promise

We are a zero-knowledge platform. We cannot hand over your vault data or private messages, because we do not hold the keys to decrypt them.
